The Alaska Traverse – Pushing the Limits of VolBiv
In summer of 2016, American pilots Gavin McClurg and Dave Turner set out on a 497 mile traverse, aiming to be the first paraglider pilots to traverse the full length of the Alaska Range. What followed was an incredible, 37 day journey across some of the continent’s most wild and untamed lands. Dodging grizzly bears, bushwhacking for days at a time, waiting through relentless snowstorms- their story is one of perseverance, refining the limits of the human spirit.
